• Dean Falkenberg

  President (Founder)

  Dean’s exceptional leadership, practical experience and entrepreneurial ambition are the driving force behind the Cartel Energy team.  He has over eighteen years experience in the oilfield industry, along with a Petroleum Engineering Technician Diploma from S.A.I.T.  Dean’s commitment to drive productive growth has been reflected since the inception of Cartel Energy Services Inc.

• Hugh McMillan, B. Comm.

  Treasurer

  Mr. McMillan has 24 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.  Having been actively involved as an owner and operator of several private oil and gas companies including Onyx Oil and Gas Ltd., Lochwest Resources Ltd. and PRL Resources Inc., Mr. McMillan has been able to develop extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of finance, corporate strategy and general business operations.

• Jaret Walsh, B. Sc.

  General Manager

  Jaret has been an employee with Cartel Energy Services since 2005.  With a Bachelors Degree in Science, majoring in Electronic Engineering Technology, from DeVry Institute of Technology, he quickly moved into the General Manager role.  His hard work and dedication to the Cartel Energy team will allow for Cartel's continual success.

• Darren Cabana

  Sales and Marketing Manager

  Darren's ten years experience in sales and marketing have been extremely beneficial to Cartel.  He has helped Cartel expand substantially through his hard work and outstanding people skills.  Darren continually grows existing relationships and works diligently to gain new ones to enable Cartel to become one of the industry leaders in oilfield equipment rental.

• Mike Mathieu

  Pipe Yard Manager

  Mike oversaw all aspects in the development of Cartel's pipe yard from inception to present day.  His attention to detail and years of experience in the oil & gas industry and pipe yard management have been as asset to the Cartel team.

• Tyler Guest

  Field Operations Supervisor

  Tyler possesses extensive field experience that makes him an ideal candidate for his role coordinating Cartel's field personnel.  The diploma Tyler earned at DeVry Institute of Technology in Electronics and Computer Technology, in addition to his strong work ethic continue to be valuable assets for the positive growth of Cartel.

• Mike Lehmann

  Surface Equipment Supervisor

  Mike's strong work ethic and hands on approach are invaluable to the Cartel team.  His 16 years of welding and field experience in the oil and gas industry have helped to enable Cartel's continued growth.
